In life, we don't always have roses all around us... a painful past, a difficult family life, a hostile work environment or a void in our relationships can create bad blood towards those we believe are responsible for our misery.
Complaining about it verbally, especially when you are angry, is not necessarily the best thing to do. We know that anger is not the best advisor. Sometimes, out of anger, we say unpleasant and hurtful things; words that only serve to poison an already difficult situation.
“Esoteric” sources (from the ancient Greek esōterikós: internal, belonging to the inner realm) recommend using the ritual of the "Magic Letter" in such cases: By writing down your feelings and expressing your desires on a piece of paper, you can clarify things and prejudices.
I recommend writing the “Magic Letter” by hand, whether with a ballpoint pen or a fountain pen. It doesn't have to be a Montblanc ;-) but it can be. Use a sheet of unlined paper, preferably white. Put all your emotions on the page: any resentment, anything you regret, your demands... Everything that is currently painful or preventing you from living in peace.
The goal of this “letter” is not for it to be read by the recipient. The “letter” is not sent... it is burned! So: no hesitation or false shame. You empty your heart. The good, the bad... you write (say) everything... LET GO!!!
You can write a “Magic Letter” to both living and deceased persons... parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, teachers, neighbors, exes, etc. etc. You can write about your nostalgia for times gone by, or about our suffering from not feeling loved... You can write a “Magic Letter” to your partner, to your lover... don't hesitate to write about the most delicate things. Things you would never dare to say out loud.
You can also write a “Magic Letter” to your employer, for example, to complain about bullying at work, to request a promotion or to ask for a raise. You can also write a “Magic Letter” to an authority, for example, to request a tax break... or to be awarded a flat... or for any other request.
You can write a “Magic Letter” to support your application. You can of course also write a “Magic Letter” for a person close to you (partner, child, friend, etc.). If you don't know who to write the “Magic Letter” to, you can use the following address: “to all whom it may concern”.
You can (whether you believe in God or not) also write a “Magic Letter” to God, your guardian angel, the universe, etc. etc. to request protection and help.
The aim is to write down (communicate) everything that goes through your mind, your demands, your expectations... and to demand that the situation described turns out in your favor.
Before you sign this “letter”, even if the person to whom it is addressed may (or may have been) absolutely detestable, you must not omit the most important part: that you forgive this person (for everything they have done to you) !!!!!!!!!!
After you have put everything on paper that is on your mind, read the signed letter OUT LOUD ONCE and then burn it. The ashes are collected neatly and placed in a small bag (paper, plastic) and then taken out of the house; e.g. in a public container, the contents of which are then disposed of by the municipality. Under no circumstances should the ashes be flushed down the toilet or buried !!!
